The Tech for Women’s Justice project is undertaking research into women’s experiences of using technology to access legal help and support.
The research base about technology as a means to perpetrate violence against women has grown; however, there is a scarcity of information about how technology supports women experiencing violence. Online resources and supports have popped up across sectors, including public legal education. As part of developing a more accessible justice system, it is important to understand whether and how technology supports survivors.
We are conducting research into violence against women, technology and access to justice. The project is conducting community-based research with survivors and is bringing together survivors and key stakeholders from across sectors to develop solutions and address barriers.
