Our Approach

WomanACT’s research is rooted in evidence and shaped by the community and lived realities of women and gender-diverse people who experience gender-based violence. Using participatory, community-based research methods, we engage survivors as Researchers and Advisors, ensuring their voices guide the research. Grounded in intersectional, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive frameworks, our research produces practical insights that inform policy, strengthen services, and ensure that solutions represent the voices of those they are meant to serve.
