The Education and Training Manager oversees, develops, and delivers education, training, and advisory
services to community-based agencies, businesses, and other institutions. This role focuses on creating
and implementing comprehensive training programs that address gender-based violence, women’s safety,
housing, and economic security, and on supporting organizational initiatives through workshop facilitation,
partnership development, and community engagement.
As part of this portfolio, the Manager leads WomanACT in the Workplace: our fee-for-service offering of
gender equity, anti-violence, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) education tailored for businesses
and workplaces across sectors. This includes building partnerships with businesses, unions, and
workplace stakeholders, delivering training and advisory services, and supporting organizational change
toward safer, more equitable, and inclusive workplaces.
The ideal candidate brings expertise in adult education and curriculum development alongside workplace
policy, organizational capacity building, and business development, and holds a strong commitment to
advancing gender equity and preventing violence.
